For our airport arrival services, we now offer refreshingly cooled towels and a nice offering of Hawaiian juice to enjoy upon arrival or on your way to the resort.
Destination Hawaii, LLC has also acquired our own catering equipment and tenting. We now own silverware to generators to clear top tents. This will definitely translate into cost savings and quality control for our clients.
A new office on Maui opened recently for Destination Hawaii, LLC Ms. Momi Spencer-Freitas has been appointed Office Manager. She will be a new addition to our operations and sales team on the island of Maui.
The J.W. Marriott, Ihilani Resort, located on the west side of Oahu at the Koolina Resort, has built a beautiful pavilion that is around 20,000 square feet. This now opens the door to many larger groups that are not limited by the smaller existing ballroom. What a wonderful addition to a stunning gem of a resort.
Chef Roy Yamaguchi, a James Beard Award winner for culinary excellence, opened his newest Hawaii restaurant at the former Niblick's Restaurant site. This is at the Koolina Golf Course Clubhouse, near the Ihilani Resort. He is now dazzling his guests with creative cuisine that only Chef Roy can do. A great addition to the Koolina Resort area.
The Turtle Bay Resort has finished their renovation of the entire complex, highlighting stunning ocean side bungalows and a new ballroom. The very strong four star resort boasts of a free wireless internet access throughout the property. Can you imagine yourself sipping on a Mai Tai, under a coconut tree, watching the surfers catch the perfect wave, in 80 degree weather, while checking your emails back home? The Hawaii Convention Center is a great success! The State of Hawaii has enjoyed many prestigious conventions due to the fact that our convention center offers first class facility and service. It was a tremendous opportunity to observe the Hawaii Convention Center personnel serve our 4,500 guests a scrumptious sit down dinner. Flawless!
Vino Restaurant, which opened at the Village Golf Course facility in Kapalua, Maui, has been voted the #1 new restaurant in the State of Hawaii, according to Conde Nast Magazine. DK Kodama, owner of Sansei Japanese Restaurants and Chuck Furuya, Hawaii?s Master Sommelier, are the owners. They boast that they have the finest wine list in Hawaii and have priced their offerings at more than competitive prices. Chuck?s philosophy is to open the world of fine wine to as many people as possible by keeping it affordable.

The Kapalua Bay Resort will be closing in March, 2006. It will be under major reconstruction and will reappear as a first class Spa Resort. More on that when it nears completion.
